Fees & Payment

Fees for Assessments are based on the Psychologist Association of Alberta Recommended Fee Schedule.  Please inquire with your healthcare benefits provider regarding the details of your coverage. Assessments will be completed by a Registered Psychologist and covered by most extended health plans, though the number of sessions and percentage covered may vary depending on your plan. We are set up to direct bill several different insurance companies for assessment services.

The fee for assessment services are based on the number of hours and tools required to complete an assessment. Each assessment will be completed based on the individual child's needs; therefore there is no set cost. The exact cost of a comprehensive psychoeducational assessment will depend on the referral question(s), test measures administered to answer the referral question(s), how far the examinee progresses in each sub-test, and the ability of the examinee to work efficiently. 

 Fees are set by each individual team member - based on education and experience. 

$200/hour (50-60 minutes)
This may include individual child therapy sessions, parent-child sessions, and consultation sessions with caregivers.

Direct billing available for many insurance companies - please note - Sunlife does not allow direct billing by psychologists at this time.

 Counselling sessions are payable at the end of each session by debit, e-transfer, cash, or credit card. You will receive a receipt at the time of the payment, which can then be used for reimbursement from your benefits provider.
